Emma started her executive search career in 1995. She has covered Managing Director and  Director level searches across capital markets, investment banking and asset management globally. She is a steering committee member of PRMIA and a member of both GARP and the Board Directors and Chief Risk Officers Forum.

Prior to founding Hawkins Haile Emma was Head of Risk Management Executive Search at New Millennium Group. Emma was also a key member of the global risk management focus group at CTPartners and was in the investment banking practice covering in addition corporate finance, corporate banking and private equity searches. She previously worked as a consultant within the Financial Service Practice at Heidrick & Struggles. During her tenure at TMP Executive Search, she was in its Capital Markets Practice. Her industry expertise was developed while with The Trafalgar Partnership, where she specialised in risk management, credit portfolio management and quantitative analytics. Previously she was an Executive Director of Sheffield International in its Equity Capital Markets area having joined the firm as Head of Research.

Emma gained first-hand knowledge of leadership requirements, assessment and development as Managing Partner with Gravitas, a leading global leadership development firm.

She is pleased to have had the opportunity to have trained a number of excellent executive search professionals during her career to date.

A Zoologist by training Emma is based in the firm’s London office but undertakes searches globally for Hawkins Haile client's.  In addition Emma is always pleased to help out the press with any queries or comment regarding risk management and executive search in general.
